Welcome back to my BetterU journey.  Today’s post is a continuation of my sharing my top 4 values from the TruValues program of which began a couple posts  ago if you want to catch up.

Have you ever given thought to why your values are what they are? Sure much of it has to do with upbringing but what in particular? How does that affect you today? As part of the 25 step process of the TruValues program I am examining those questions and many more. Today is day 2 of a 4 day journey that dives into each of these values a little bit deeper to uncover why I believe the value is primary  in my life and how I am expressing this value today. Better U – Values+

Better U – Values+

I am an avid reader! Have been since graduating college. Most of my reads were personal development, leadership and money which all lined up with my career in the financial industry.  I’m a personal development junkie as some would say – devouring books, tapes, seminars, and such for most of my adult life.  Although I haven’t kept track of the number of books I’ve read (never did like the bean counting aspect of my accounting courses) I can only estimate that it has been several hundred in my adult life thus far.  And if you’re a junkie like me then you know it’s hard to find a personal development book that does not spend a chapter on values.  And being the diligent junkie that I am I have taken every Value Assessment that has crossed my path.  Needless to say when I picked up the TruValues assessment of the BetterU I was almost tempted to skip it.
